Inveremere Real Estate- BC Government announce a Grant for first time home owners

The British Columbia government plans to implement a short-term BC First-Time New Home Buyers’ Bonus. Effective February 21, 2012, to March 31, 2013, the bonus is a one-time refundable personal income tax credit worth up to $10,000. Click here to view document

Soon after this announcement the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) stated that it was presenting some incentives for First time home buyers (March 1, 2012 – May 31, 2012)..
